וְהֵ֨ן חֶלְמָ֤א וּפִשְׁרֵהּ֙ תְּֽהַחֲוֺ֔ן מַתְּנָ֤ן וּנְבִזְבָּה֙ וִיקָ֣ר שַׂגִּ֔יא תְּקַבְּל֖וּן מִן־קֳדָמָ֑י לָהֵ֕ן חֶלְמָ֥א וּפִשְׁרֵ֖הּ הַחֲוֺֽנִי׃

*Word for word:* and if the dream and interpretation its you.will.declare gifts and a.reward and honor great you.will.receive from before me therefore the dream and interpretation its declare to.me

*JPS 1917:* But if ye declare the dream and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour; only declare unto me the dream and the interpretation thereof.'

*Word for word:* then \[was\].replying Daniel and.\[say\] saying before the king gifts your for yourself let.them.be and rewards your to another give! nevertheless the writing I.will.read.aloud to the king and the interpretation I will.make.known.to.him

*JPS 1917:* Then Daniel answered and said before the king: 'Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; nevertheless I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.
