*Word for word:* then the overseers and the satraps they.were seeking an.occasion to find to Daniel from the.side of the.kingdom and any occasion and corruption not \[they.were\].able to find as to because that \[was\].trustworthy he and any negligence and corruption not it.was.found concerning him

*JPS 1917:* Then the presidents and the satraps sought to find occasion against Daniel as touching the kingdom; but they could find no occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
