Palm. אמרשמשא, Sab. יתעאמר) long form only 1 Ch 24:23; 2 Ch 19:11; 31:15. a Levite 1 Ch 23:19; 24:23 (in Dvd’s time), cf. 1 Ch 5:33,(×2); 6:37; Ezr 7:3; vid. also 1 Ch 5:37,(×2); also Ezr 10:42. chief priest under Jehosh. 2 Ch 19:11. Levite under Hezekiah 2 Ch 31:15. son of Hezekiah & great-grandfather of Zephaniah Zp 1:1. a priest Ne 10:4; 12:2, 13. a man of Judah Ne 11:4.
