Talm. גְּזָא cut off); hence perhaps Pt. act. sf. גּוֹזִי ψ 71:6 thou art he that severed me from my mother’s womb (De Che; 𝔊 σκεπαστής, De proposes ἐκσπαστής, v. 𝔊 ψ 22:10; 𝔙 protector cf. 𝔊, Thes Ew Hup Pe benefactor, cf. Arabic جَزَا requite, Jerus. Syriac ܓܙܐ, Talm. גְּזָא id.;—text and meaning dub.; ‖ ψ 22:10 has גֹּחִי; v. Checrit. n. and OP 476; Du עֻוִּי.
