**The whole BDB entry:** n.\[m.\] muster, appointment, appointed place;—abs. מ׳ only in שַׁעַר הַמּ׳ Ne 3:31, v. i. שַׁעַר; cstr. מִפְקַד: muster of people 2 S 24:9 = 1 Ch 21:5. appointment of (by) Hezekiah 2 Ch 31:13. appointed place of (in) temple Ez 43:21 (Krae watch, guard-house; Köii 1, 93 conj. מוֹקֵד).

אַחֲרָ֣יו הֶחֱזִ֗יק מַלְכִּיָּה֙ בֶּן־הַצֹּ֣רְפִ֔י עַד־בֵּ֥ית הַנְּתִינִ֖ים וְהָרֹכְלִ֑ים נֶ֚גֶד שַׁ֣עַר הַמִּפְקָ֔ד וְעַ֖ד עֲלִיַּ֥ת הַפִּנָּֽה׃

*Word for word:* after him he.repaired Malkijah the.son of the.goldsmith\[s\] to the.house of the.temple.servants and the traders before the.gate of the.muster and to the.roof-chamber of the.corner

*JPS 1917:* After him repaired Malchijah one of the goldsmiths unto the house of the Nethinim, and of the merchants, over against the gate of Hammiphkad, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
