וְשִׁבְעִ֣ים אִ֣ישׁ מִזִּקְנֵ֣י בֵֽית־יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל וְיַאֲזַנְיָ֨הוּ בֶן־שָׁפָ֜ן עֹמֵ֤ד בְּתוֹכָם֙ עֹמְדִ֣ים לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם וְאִ֥ישׁ מִקְטַרְתּ֖וֹ בְּיָד֑וֹ וַעֲתַ֥ר עֲנַֽן־הַקְּטֹ֖רֶת עֹלֶֽה׃

*Word for word:* and seventy man of the.elders of.the.house of.Israel and Jaazaniah the.son of.Shaphan \[was\].standing among them \[were\].standing before them and everyone censer his \[was\].in hand his and the.fragrance of.the.cloud of.(the) incense \[was\].going.up

*JPS 1917:* And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, every man with his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

*Word for word:* and he.was.enraged Uzziah and.\[was\] in hand his a.censer to make.smoke and when he was.enraged with the priests and.(the) skin disease it.arose on forehead his before the priests in the.house of.Yahweh from on to the.altar of.(the) incense

*JPS 1917:* Then Uzziah was wroth; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense; and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy broke forth in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, beside the altar of incense.
