**The whole BDB entry:** n.f. division, divided opinion;—pl. abs. עַל־שְׁתֵּי הַסְּעִפִּים 1 K 18:21 how long are ye limping on the two divided opinions (as on unequal legs; 𝔊 ταῖς ἰγνύαις seems an attempt to interpret the fig.; according to Albrecht ZAW xvi (1896) 75 ס׳ really = legs).

וַיִּגַּ֨שׁ אֵלִיָּ֜הוּ אֶל־כָּל־הָעָ֗ם וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ עַד־מָתַ֞י אַתֶּ֣ם פֹּסְחִים֮ עַל־שְׁתֵּ֣י הַסְּעִפִּים֒ אִם־יְהוָ֤ה הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ לְכ֣וּ אַחֲרָ֔יו וְאִם־הַבַּ֖עַל לְכ֣וּ אַחֲרָ֑יו וְלֹֽא־עָנ֥וּ הָעָ֛ם אֹת֖וֹ דָּבָֽר׃
