**The whole BDB entry:** n.f. hating, hatred;—abs. שׂ׳ Nu 35:20 +, cstr. שִׂנְאַת Dt 1:27; Pr 25:10; sf. שִׂנְאָתֶיךָ; Ez 35:11 (pl. -אֹתֶיךָ prob. meant, Köii. 1, § 88 cf. Ol§ 131 k, but שִׂנְאָֽתְךָ 𝔊 Co Berthol Toy, cf. Ges§ 91: l), etc.;—hatred (sometimes opp. אַהֲבָה): human, Nu 35:20 (P), Ez 23:29; 35:11 Pr 10:12, 18; 15:17; 26:26 ψ 109:5 Ec 9:1, 6; דִּבְרֵי שׂ׳ ψ 109:3; emphatic, שִׂנְאַת חָמָס 25:19, תַּכְלִית שׂ׳ 139:22 (against י׳’s foes), also (of sexual revulsion) שׂ׳ גְּדוֹלָה 2 S 13:15 (all acc. cogn.). י׳’s hating, as vb., c. acc. pers., Dt 1:27; 9:28.
