𝔗 Lv 2:15, 16, ܫܪܳܩ id.;—from שׁ׳ comes Gk. σῦριγξ according to Lag Abh GGW xxvi. 38 LewyFremdw. 165);— Pf. 3 ms. consec. וְשׁ׳ Is 5:26, etc.; Impf. 3 ms. יִשְׁרֹק Is 7:18 + (Jb 27:23 read יִשְׁרְקוּ Me Bi Siegf Bu); 1 s. אֶשְׁרְקָה Zc 10:8;—hiss, as signal, ל pers., fig., י׳ subj.: Is 5:26; 7:18; Zc 10:1; in derision, עַל civitat., etc. (often + שָׁמֵם be astounded), Je 19:8; 49:17; 50:13; La 2:15 (+ הֵנִיעַ רֹאשׁ), Ez 27:36; abs.
