### In the lessons

In science lessons pupils sort things into alive, dead and never alive; living things move, grow, breathe, feed, sense and reproduce. In stories a town «comes alive» at night and a character is happy to be alive. Phrases: come alive, keep alive, stay alive, alive and well, alive with (full of).

## In Jewish tradition

Interpretation: Tradition values life above almost all else. The Torah says to "choose life," and saving a life overrides most commands. In stories a town «comes alive» at night and a character is happy to be alive. Phrases: come alive, keep alive, stay alive, alive and well, alive with (full of).
