### Note

Countable noun; plural «anachronisms». Adjective «anachronistic». Pronounced a-NAK-ro-nism. Do not confuse with «acronym» (a word made from first letters, like NASA). Dinosaurs and people never lived at the same time, so cartoons showing them together are anachronisms, not history.
