### In the lessons

In science (space) the Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy far, far away, made of hundreds of billions of stars; on a very dark night it can be seen as a faint smudge without a telescope, and it is the farthest thing most people can see with their eyes alone. In stories and myths Andromeda is a princess.

A name, so it always has a capital letter. Andromeda is a galaxy, not a star or a planet. Trap: the light we see left it a very long time ago, so we see it as it was, not as it is now.
