### In the lessons

A formal word. In Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, falling down the rabbit hole, Alice wonders if she will come out among «the Antipathies» – she means the Antipodes (people on the other side of the Earth, like Australia and New Zealand), and Carroll makes a joke by mixing up the two long words. In exam writing «antipathy» is a strong word for dislike. Phrases: «antipathy towards/to».
