## In Jewish tradition

A woven container for bread, firstfruits and food. In Joseph's story the baskets are in the dreams of the chief baker.

**Interpretation.** The firstfruits are brought to the Temple in a basket in a ceremony. Joseph reads the three baskets as three days, which shows his gift of interpreting dreams.
