### In the lessons

In food and health lessons, cashews are a healthy snack, but some children are allergic to nuts, so many schools are «nut-free». In science and geography, cashew trees grow in hot countries such as India, Vietnam and parts of Africa and Brazil; the shell has an oil that burns the skin, so the nuts are roasted or steamed before eating.
