## In Jewish tradition

Interpretation: Here "wild-cats" are wild animals that live in ruined places. The prophets name them with jackals and ostriches to show a city left empty. In the primary lessons: animals counted; legs, food per cat; in science, cats are mammals and hunters; phrases «let the cat out of the bag» (tell a secret), «raining cats and dogs» (raining hard), «curiosity killed the cat»
