### In the lessons

In RE, pupils learn that Christianity has many denominations which share beliefs about Jesus but differ in worship and leadership. ### Note

From «denomination» (a branch of a religion; also the value of a coin or note — a £20 denomination). Adjective only. Trap: in money, «denomination» means the value of a note or coin, which has nothing to do with church.
