Phrases: «drag and drop», «drag your feet» (be slow or unwilling), «what a drag», «drag on».

## In Jewish tradition

In Proverbs it means to pull away by force. In Habakkuk a "drag" is a fishing net, and the prophet pictures a proud enemy who catches nations like fish.

**Interpretation.** Tradition reads Habakkuk's picture as a warning that a conqueror who worships his own power will be punished.
