### Note

Distance done; distance left = whole trip − driven. Irregular: drive, drove, (has) driven. Not «drived». Use «driven» after «has/have/had» or «was/were».

## In Jewish tradition

Means forced out or pushed away, like enemies driven from the land or lost animals driven off. In poems it is also used for a leaf blown by wind or a wicked person chased from the world.

**Interpretation.** The law of returning a lost animal teaches that one must not ignore a neighbor's loss. Job's "driven leaf" shows a person feeling weak and helpless before God.
