## In Jewish tradition

In the Song at the Sea, Israel praises God and lifts Him up as their God and their fathers' God.

**Interpretation.** Tradition sees this verse as the people's first answer to being saved at the sea, and it is sung in the daily prayers and at Passover. In the primary lessons: in old tales, a king or a house is exalted when it is made grand and glorious
