### In the lessons

In school pupils learn from experts (scientists, authors, visiting firefighters) and become «class experts» on a topic. In research and media lessons: information from real experts is more reliable, but check who the expert is and what they know. In everyday life you ask an expert — a doctor, an electrician — for things you can't do safely yourself. Phrases: expert on/in/at, become an expert, expert advice, ask an expert.
