# fundamental

adjective

«fundamental» in the English dictionary: in Jewish tradition — its meanings, how the lessons use it, and examples, each with its tree on Mova.

## In Jewish tradition

In Sefer Yetzirah it describes the twenty-two letters, and especially the three "mother" letters, as the basic building blocks of creation.

**Interpretation.** Tradition teaches that God made the world with the Hebrew letters, and the three mother letters Aleph, Mem and Shin are the base of all the others.
