## Everyday

In computing and online-safety lessons, pupils learn to search well: use good keywords, check that websites are reliable, and know that not everything online is true. In everyday talk, «Just google it» means look it up online. Phrases: «google it», «a Google search», «Google Maps».

As a company name, write Google with a capital G; the verb «google» is often lower case. Regular verb (googled, googling). «Googol» (the number) is spelled with «-ol». Searching is not the same as checking: compare more than one good source.
