2. A headache can also mean a problem that is annoying or hard to solve. [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/H/headache/#m2)

### In the lessons

In health lessons, headaches can come from not drinking enough water, not sleeping enough, too much screen time, being hungry, too much sun or being ill; resting, drinking water and telling an adult helps. Medicine for headaches must only be given by an adult. A very bad headache with a stiff neck, rash or after a head bump needs a doctor straight away. Phrases: have a headache, a bad headache, splitting headache, give someone a headache.
