### In the lessons

In PE and football a header is a key skill. In computing and in writing reports on a computer, the header is the top area where you put the title or date. Phrases: «score with a header», «header and footer».

### Note

Countable. Opposite of «footer» in documents. Safety: young children should be careful with heading heavy balls; some leagues limit heading for under-12s.
