## In Jewish tradition

"Hinder" is also an old word meaning back or rear, as in "the hinder part of the tabernacle." Job and Jeremiah also use it as a verb meaning to stop someone, as in "who can hinder Him?"

**Interpretation.** The tabernacle's back, the west side, was built with six boards. Tradition studies the exact measurements as a sacred plan given to Moses. Job's question is read as showing that no one can stop God.
