# included

verb (include, includes, included, including); adjective (included)

«included» in the English dictionary: everyday and in Jewish tradition — its meanings, how the lessons use it, and examples, each with its tree on Mova.

## Everyday

1. Included means put in as part of a whole or a group. [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/I/included/#m1)
2. Included means already counted in the price or the total: «drinks included». [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/I/included/#m2)
3. To feel included is to feel that you belong in a group. [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/I/included/#m3)

### In the lessons

marks that a part is already in the total: «tax included», «Sam included»; in everyday life: «breakfast included», «batteries not included»; in friendship and manners: making sure nobody is left out, everyone is included in the game

### Examples

### Note

Do not add it again: it is already inside the total. Trap: «10 children, Tom included» means Tom is one of the 10. Trap: «not included» means you must add it on (the toy plus batteries). Opposite: excluded, left out.
