## In Jewish tradition

In Sefer Yetzirah each of the thirty-two paths is named an "Intelligence," such as Stable or Perpetual.

**Interpretation.** The paths are the ways wisdom works in creation. Later Kabbalists connected them with the ten sefirot and the twenty-two letters.
