# inwardly

adverb

«inwardly» in the English dictionary: in Jewish tradition — its meanings, how the lessons use it, and examples, each with its tree on Mova.

## In Jewish tradition

In the Psalm it means in the heart, in secret, in contrast to what is said aloud.

**Interpretation.** Tradition teaches that God knows the heart, so words that sound like blessings cannot hide what a person really feels inside.
