### In the lessons

In maths it is a liquid in cups or litres, often sold at a lemonade stand for a price per cup; cups sold × price per cup gives money made, and minus the cost of lemons and sugar gives profit. In everyday life children run lemonade stands in summer to earn pocket money. Saying: «When life gives you lemons, make lemonade» (make the best of a bad thing).

### Note
