## In Jewish tradition

A Nazirite, who takes a special vow, must stay away from wine, strong drink and anything from the grape.

**Interpretation.** Tradition reads this ban as a way to keep the Nazirite holy and self-controlled, and to keep him far from anything that might lead to excess.

### Examples
