### In the lessons

In stories and in history lessons it explains why witnesses disagree. In everyday life people misremember names, numbers or what happened. In a maths problem a character may misremember a number, so you must spot the wrong one. Phrase: if I don't misremember (old-fashioned).

Regular verb. The prefix "mis-" means wrongly or badly (misspell, misunderstand). A slightly formal word; everyday phrase is "remember wrong" or "get it wrong".
