### Note

Plural: «messieurs» ("may-SYUR"). Short form: «M.» (not «Mr.»). Women: «madame» (Mrs, Ms), «mademoiselle» (Miss, now old-fashioned). The «on» sounds like "uh", not "on". It is not an English word.
