### In the lessons

In history lessons, the Neolithic is when Stonehenge's first stages and Skara Brae in Orkney were built. In the Just So Stories, Taffy and her father Tegumai Bopsulai are «Neolithic» people (Kipling says so), living by a river and inventing writing — though really writing was invented much later, in Mesopotamia and Egypt around 3200 BC. That is one of Kipling's made-up facts. Phrases: «Neolithic farmers», «Neolithic Age».
