### In the lessons

A fragment, not a word. In grammar lessons, "n't" stands for "not" in contractions: do + not = don't. In RE, NT means New Testament (the Gospels and letters about Jesus and the first Christians). In Australian geography, the NT contains Uluru.

### Note

Fragment and abbreviation, not a word on its own. In contractions the apostrophe goes where letters are missing: "did not" → "didn't" (not "did'nt"). Special forms: "can't" (cannot), "won't" (will not). OT = Old Testament.
