### In the lessons

In science lessons about food chains and relationships: fleas, ticks, tapeworms and mistletoe show parasitism. Compare mutualism (both gain) and commensalism (one gains, the other is not harmed). The cuckoo laying eggs in other birds' nests is called brood parasitism.
