### In the lessons

In science and history lessons it shows medicine coming from plants: Quechua healers in the Andes knew about cinchona bark, and later quinine helped people fight malaria in hot countries. Today doctors use newer drugs for malaria. A fun fact: tonic water glows blue under ultraviolet light because of the quinine. Phrases: «quinine tablets», «tonic water with quinine».
