### Note

Past «rearranged». Noun «rearrangement». Prefix re- (again) + arrange. Maths: adding and multiplying can be rearranged in any order (3 + 5 = 5 + 3), but subtracting and dividing cannot (8 − 3 ≠ 3 − 8). With digits, rearranging changes the value.

## In Jewish tradition

Interpretation: Sefer Yetzirah describes how God combined and rearranged the letters of the alphabet to create the world. In the primary lessons: In school, «rearrange the letters to make a word» (anagrams), «rearrange the furniture», and in maths «rearrange the numbers» or «rearrange the equation». Everyday: «we'll rearrange the dentist appointment». Phrases: «rearrange the room», «rearrange the meeting», «rearrange the letters», «rearrange the formula».
