## In Jewish tradition

The seventh day is the Sabbath, the day of rest, and the seventh year and seventh month also have special holiness.

**Interpretation.** Tradition says God blessed and made holy the seventh day, and Jews keep it as a day of rest from Friday evening to Saturday night.
