# sixty

number (sixty)

«sixty» in the English dictionary: everyday and in Jewish tradition — its meanings, how the lessons use it, and examples, each with its tree on Mova.

## Everyday

1. Sixty is the number 60, which is six tens. [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/S/sixty/#m1)
2. An hour has 60 minutes and a minute has 60 seconds. [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/S/sixty/#m2)

### In the lessons

Maths: a number; 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute, so time problems often hide 60. Everyday: ages, prices, speed limits («sixty miles an hour»).

### Examples
