## In Jewish tradition

Interpretation: In Chronicles it means the set measure of the Temple's offerings and furnishings. Tradition stresses exact measures in Temple service. In the primary lessons: how many things are in one group («multiply the number of groups by the size of one group»); the size of one group is one factor in multiplying, or the answer when dividing a total by the number of groups; in science comparing sizes of animals, planets, seeds; in everyday life shoe sizes, «one size fits all»

### Examples

- for the showbread also, and for the fine flour for a meal-offering, whether of unleavened wafers, or of that which is baked on the griddle, or of that which is soaked, and for all manner of measure and size; (Writings 1CH.23.29, JPS 1917) [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/judaism/S/size/#x1)

### Note
