In the USA, Canada, Australia and Ireland the game is often called "soccer"; in the UK and much of the world it is called "football". In PE lessons, soccer teaches passing, teamwork and fair play. In maths, problems use soccer scores, goals and league points. Phrases: play soccer, soccer ball, soccer team, soccer field, soccer practice.
