## In Jewish tradition

Interpretation: Seed that is sown is still kept clean even if a dead creature touches it, and sowing mixed seeds in a vineyard is forbidden. Tradition reads these laws as keeping God's order of creation. The Psalms say "light is sown for the righteous", a picture of hope for good people, and Ezekiel promises that the land will be tilled and sown again.
