### In the lessons

English and reading lessons: non-fiction texts, reports and leaflets use subheadings to organise information; they help you skim and find facts quickly. When writing a report, pupils add subheadings like «Habitat», «Diet», «Life cycle». Subheadings are a structural (organisational) feature of a text.
