# tent

noun (tent, tents)

«tent» in the English dictionary: everyday and in Jewish tradition and Early Modern English — its meanings, how the lessons use it, and examples, each with its tree on Mova.

## Everyday

1. A tent is a shelter made of cloth or nylon, held up by poles and ropes, that you put up when you go camping. [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/T/tent/#m1)
