# trigon

noun

## In Jewish tradition

One of the instruments in Nebuchadnezzar's orchestra, whose sound told the people to bow to the golden image.

**Interpretation.** Tradition reads the music as a test of loyalty: Daniel's friends refused to bow, showing that Jews must serve God alone, even when facing death.
