## Everyday

1. The ulna is one of the two long bones in the forearm, between the elbow and the wrist; it is on the little-finger side. [tree →](https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/dictionaries/school/U/ulna/#m1)

Use «an ulna» (it starts with a vowel sound). Plural ulnae (Latin) or ulnas. The «funny bone» is not a bone: it is a nerve near the end of the ulna and humerus that tingles when bumped.
