### In the lessons

Pupils may meet it in children's speech or older texts, but in writing the correct everyday word is «illogical». In maths and reasoning lessons, an illogical (unlogical) argument jumps to a conclusion that does not follow.

### Note

Rare and often called a mistake: use «illogical». Many adjectives starting with l take «il-»: illegal, illegible, illogical.
