### In the lessons

In computing lessons, software has versions (version 2.0), and you update to the latest version. In literacy lessons, pupils compare different versions of fairy tales or write their own version of a story. In history and in quarrels, different people give different versions of the same event — a reason to look for evidence. ## In Jewish tradition

In Sefer Yetzirah it means a printed edition or translation of the book.

**Interpretation.** Sefer Yetzirah exists in several versions, a short one and longer ones. Scholars compare them to find the oldest wording.
